I was thinking of buying a pda phone. My main purpose is for me to have my medical ebooks on my pda phone. I’m torn between a palm treo 680/750 and an apple iphone. I would just like to ask if apple iphone can read medical ebooks or has an application to support ebook reader for my medical books. Thanks.

I was just wondering whether reading long novels on an ipod touch is comfortable, let me know!

The main contenders beign blackberry, palm, htc, O2, imate.
My main application is internet acess data ( ebooks, music, etc) storage.

Hi, I’m thinking of getting an older model Palm Pilot (maybe the m100 or m500 series) and use it as a cheap e-book reader for .txt format ebooks. I looked into the actual ebook readers but they are too expensive…so I thought of getting an old model PDA instead. so I just want to know if the old model Palms can read ordinary .txt files.

hi, I have a lot of books on my computer (mostly in pdf) and I would love to be able to carry my books around for on the go reading. I was thinking about getting an ebook reader or a pda, but the main thing I want is a big screen to read a whole page. It would rock if the device im looking for also had an mp3 player, wifi, note taking, and other useful functions. Does anyone have a recommendation of what I should get? thanks for any advice!

I am thinking about buying a new mobile…. In addition to using as a phone I need to read ebooks (mainly PDF including comics) as well as edit and/or view word, powerpoint and excel files. Which mobile do you think is the best. Or should I go for a seperate PDA rather than getting a PDA phone

I’ve got a windows pocketpc PDA that I use for reading ebooks and web surfing in wifi zones. Its getting worn out and I need to replace it, but PDAs seem to be going out of style and it looks like I’ll need to get a smartphone instead.
Smartphones all seem to have tiny screens compared to dedicated PDA, pathetic battery life, or cost £400/$550, which is twice the price of my PDA which I bought way back in 2004.
Any recommendations?
