hi, I have a lot of books on my computer (mostly in pdf) and I would love to be able to carry my books around for on the go reading. I was thinking about getting an ebook reader or a pda, but the main thing I want is a big screen to read a whole page. It would rock if the device im looking for also had an mp3 player, wifi, note taking, and other useful functions. Does anyone have a recommendation of what I should get? thanks for any advice!

I am looking for a decent size screen. I don’t want to buy a PDA and have to scroll down every 10 seconds because I’m finished reading the 3 inches of text it can display. It will soley be used for reading ebooks. Thanks.
i’d like something roughly the size of a paperback. i don’t care if it’s twenty years old, or used, as long as it can read a variety of file types - stuff from project gutenberg, pdf’s (the latest ones, if possible), random proprietary formats… basically, i want to get free ebooks onto it, and, uh, read ‘em. maybe even buy some, if i’m feelin’ crazy. pda functionality would be nice, but is not, at all, necessary. a certain amount of product support, be it company or fan based, would be nice, and replacement parts would be good, too. any ideas?
