Ebook Generator

I’d like to write an ebook and sell it but I have no idea how this process works. I have seen various ebooks being listed and everyone of them has a publisher, so I am not sure if I need to go through a publisher or not. Also, how do you protect your intellectual property / ebook from being copied / ripped off?

I make Ebooks with desktop publisher…and tr to put them on Regnow…lately its not working properly..
People keep asking me for a Pad File Number for them to download the Ebooks direct..
What is that, where is it, and how can I produce an Ebook and set it somewhere to sell?????

I am not happy with Desktop publisher and Regnow..as the recent books are just not ebing approved and I cannot make them right…there must be another way..

ok.. so i have a ebook that i bought from somewhere else on my computer… now i want to put it on my ipod touch but it doesn’t let me. i have researched and it seems that i could upload it to the wesite ereader.com but they only allow pdb files and my ebook is a pdf. what can i do, or is there a way i can convert it into a pdb file…please help me!!!!

Is there some kind of max for affiliate links in a ClickBank ebook? To tell you the truth I can’t find anything on it and I have no idea how ClickBank feels about affiliate links within ebooks at all. Thanks.

This fanfiction site has eBooks file or something, and I can’t read them. I tried downloading eReader from eReader. com to see if that would help but I can’t use eReader bacouse I’m missing some program or something about window.

Would you prefer to buy a novel in Print at $13 or in ebook version at $4 or under? Does the need to feel paper in one’s hands make up for the price gap? Ebooks can now be read on a computer, pda, some smart phones and are easily available at online stores like Fictionwise …
As an author with both an ebook version (at Fictionwise among others) and a print version (on Amazon among others) I am investigating the current perception of ebooks on the Web.

I wrote an ebook on how to get traffic for free. Now I am struggeling to find a name that’s catchy, innovative and not too long. Could you may be help?

So free traffic generator is not a good idea, because that sounds boring.

I purchased the book from the publisher on September 5th. I always back up my ebooks, but I can’t find this one. The publisher only allows downloads for 5 days after purchase. I can supply proof of purchase for anyone who doesn’t want to be providing copies to freeloaders. Would someone be willing to send me a copy? foresoothidiot@yahoo.com

The ebook piracy thing. What do you think? Is it completely unforgivable, or are there certain exceptions to the rule? Feel free to expand on the question.

It’s a more complex issue than it seems at first glance. A number of authors believe the populatiry of their pirate ebooks is partially responsible for their success. Paulo Coelho even started a website (Pirate Coelho) to distribute his ebooks, believing that it was a good way to promote his work.

One publisher in particular (Baen) likes their authors to make one book available for free, in the hope that people will read the first book in a series online and buy the others.

There’s an ongoing debate about whether the author and publisher lose money (assuming people will buy the book if they can’t steal it) or not (assuming they wouldn’t buy it anyway).

And finally, the real losers in this debate. Textbooks. Who’s going to buy a textbook if it’s available free?

ebay or copy a book {pocket or hardcover} in your computer then make it to an ebook then sell it. i mean resell rights to the publisher.
