I read a romance novel for the first time about a month ago (Night Play by Sherrilyn Kenyon) and became hooked on the genre.
Recently I realized just how easy it is to read ebooks at work. I just download them as a pdf and email them to myself from my home computer. When reading I minimize the screen so that it is no bigger than an instant messenger window. I can click it close pretty quickly but usually no one even notices that it’s open. I even rename the file with a title that sounds like something work related so that no one will guess by glancing at my open programs in the title bar.
It makes hours at my job go by like minutes and I’m a lot nicer person because I’m not so bored all the time.
I was just wondering if anyone else would actually admit to doing this work.
I’ve worked at the same job long enough that I have managed to become extremely efficient at what I do. My work has yet to suffer…in fact, in my opinion, my attitude has improved. I’m a lot more cheerful at work.

hi, I have a lot of books on my computer (mostly in pdf) and I would love to be able to carry my books around for on the go reading. I was thinking about getting an ebook reader or a pda, but the main thing I want is a big screen to read a whole page. It would rock if the device im looking for also had an mp3 player, wifi, note taking, and other useful functions. Does anyone have a recommendation of what I should get? thanks for any advice!

I am an avid reader of ebooks and once, I downloaded a lot of books which were in .lit format, but I couldn’t open them. If any special software needs to be installed, pls give me a link to download that. I have latest WINDOWS XP 2005
