Ebook Generator

I am looking for one device to replace a cell phone (with bluetooth), a PDA, and Ipod. I don’t text at all and I don’t care about email. I want something that I can use to read/download ebooks, listen to music, and use as phone. My current provider is ATT and I would like to stay with them.

I am in desperate need for a handheld device - a smartphone, PDA or any other which I can use to read ebooks . I want to read .pdf .pdb .lit .txt .doc .prc etc and I would like something which I can use to read comic pdfs hassle less. also pdfs with dual column text. even if the handheld doesn’t come built in with these features a handheld for which softwares are readily available would be fine.

i am trying to get some ebooks on my tungsten E2 palm pilot and i cant figure it out, i have a 1 GB memory card in it but i cant get anything on my PDA. the 1 GB memory card is big enought for what i want on it. please help me like step by step what to do.

I’ve got a windows pocketpc PDA that I use for reading ebooks and web surfing in wifi zones. Its getting worn out and I need to replace it, but PDAs seem to be going out of style and it looks like I’ll need to get a smartphone instead.

Smartphones all seem to have tiny screens compared to dedicated PDA, pathetic battery life, or cost £400/$550, which is twice the price of my PDA which I bought way back in 2004.

Any recommendations?

I’m currently with ATT and I have a 3G handset. I’m thinking about buying an iPhone now. I have a couple of questions..
1) Is the SIM card the same as my 3G handset? Can I use my small handset on the weekend and iPhone during the week?
2) Can you tether the iPhone to power internet on your laptop? I do this today with the handset (although I know I’m not really allowed to, I do it infrequently).
3) How is the bluetooth on the iPhone
a) Can I transfer pictures/file/etc from my iPhone to my PC and back via bluetooth?
b) Can I continue to use my bluetooth headset or do I need to buy Apple’s?
4) I use my PDA to read eBooks a lot. Its great when working out/waiting at an office/etc. Can I continue to read eBooks on the iPhone?
5) I use MS Outlook tasks a lot. Can I sync Outlook tasks to my iPhone?
6) I carry my phone in my pocket. Does the iPhone screen get scratched?
7) If I get the smaller Gig iPhone today, can I upgrade the memory later?

My old laptop broke, which I had Mobipock reader. I transfered about 10 ebooks into my palm z22, currently i’m on my alternate ltop with mobipocket. I purchased a new e book, and when I try to transfer it to my pda it’s trying to completely install mobipocket again! But I love the books in my pda, anyway I’m afraid I will lose access to my old ebooks. Since this Mobipocket probably has a different lic # Please help!!! I’m totally stumped God bless you

when i connect my imate there is a message if your hardware came with an installation cd or floppy disk , insert it now . which i dont have
my question is where to download software for this and how to read ebooks? thank you
