    I don’t know where you can download them free from. You can buy them off places like itunes or audible.

    You could maybe download a file sharing program to get stuff if you want to skim the system and get stuff free.

    Downloading new books for free is copyright violation, so even if you manage to find a website where you can do it, I wouldn’t. Project Gutenberg allows you to download for free books whose copyright has expired. They’re older, naturally, but it has a large selection not restricted to classics.     There are no legal free services that allow you to download ebooks. You can check with your library, which may have an ebook subscription system (where you can read the ebook through the library website), but there is nothing on the web at large.

    However, if you can force yourself to get to your nearest library, you can get the actual paper books - where you can carry them around, read them lying down if you want to, and not get eye strain from staring at a monitor :-)
